We meet monthly on the last Thursday of the month at Fresh Eggs offices for a talk followed by discussion & networking.

We have Developers and Designers, Photographers, and Marketers, Computer Engineers and Social Media experts, Freelancers and Hobbyists. Our events are free to attend and everyone is welcome.

What happened to WorthingThing?

WorthingThing began in August 2008, starting as a series of impromptu tweetups and grew in to a monthly gathering of people with an interest in all things digital and online.

On the 26th of January 2012 the members of WorthingThing met at the Fresh Egg offices to discuss how the group could change to better serve the local digital community. We decided that the events that we had been running were no longer really working for us.

WorthingDigital will replace WorthingThing from next month. It will be a more structured event, hosted by Fresh Egg. Each meetup will begin with a digital themed lightning talk, followed by discussions & an opportunity to get to know other people in the local digital scene.

We’ll be promoting the new group quite heavily over the coming weeks. We’re also planning to revamp the website. You’ll be able to find details of upcoming events & past speakers and a members directory.
